Hi and welcome from Heather! Inky Doodles started out as a small, family run business designing and selling beautful photopolymer stamps and lasercut MDF shapes designed by a very talented lady named Sarah, my mother. Sadly Sarah passed away recently. It's been a really tough time and a hard decision to make, but the wonderful support and encouragement from customers and crafters turned friends, I couldn't let Inky Doodles end. I hope that those of you who knew Sarah will still think about her kind and gentle way when you use your stamps and that those who didn't will enjoy discovering her talent for design. I'll be doing my best as always to keep things true to the way they always have been, and in that spirit, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me, we've always taken pride in creating personal service and I still love hearing from you and especially seeing pictures of your beautiful creations.

I'm Sarah, the creator of Inky Doodles, a passionate crafter and a lover of all things inky, especially stamping and colouring techniques. After many, many years of using stamps, teaching and seeing most of what is out there while running my own craft shop (like a kid in a sweet shop!), I decided it was time to design my own stamp range. I drew each of the designs myself, taking inspiration from many areas but especially fabrics which I love and using a simple friendly style so they are unique and easy to use.
The collection is varied with lots of different themes, but the fresh, simple, contemporary "Doodle" style remains consistent, together with versatile and interchangeable design elements which mean almost limitless, seamless design possibilites for your creations. It seems to me that the job of a stamp designer is to provide fun and creative possibilities for papercrafters and artists - that's why the Inky Doodles tag line is...
Be Inspired and create something amazing.
The stamp designs are only part of the story though. The stamps are made with high quality photopolymer. Why? Because I insisted on the best, not the cheapest. The transparency means that placing the image exactly where you want it is an inky doddle (sorry!). But more than this, in my experience it gives the best possible impression across all ink types. This is because photopolymer is specifically engineered for ink transfer, whereas alternatives like rubber, silicone and acrylic were just repurposed to stamping - and this shows.
Lastly the manufacturing process means that you get a higher resolution and impression results just as the designer intended. So you can be sure you are buying the best quality stamps here.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our site, I hope you enjoy browsing our products and samples and that you enjoy using them as much as I have enjoyed creating them. We would love to hear from you if you have used our stamps or want to leave feedback by email or via the Guestbook feature.
